Hostel director was very helpful. Great to have access to the internet. Loved having van service to the chinque terre. Beautiful view from hostel. Judy, from USA ~ 24th Sep 2011

The bathrooms were not very clean. The breakfast was not included like it says (2euro) and it sucked. Gorgeous view and very helpful and friendly staff. The shuttle to cinque Terre was not included like it says (8euro per person) and there was a 1:00am curfew. Not much to do around the hostel.

The bathrooms in this hostel were really dirty (mold, hair, grime, etc. in the showers). The lights and locks in some of the bathrooms didn't work. On top of all of this, the hostel staff were pretty rude.

This was a fine place to spend the evening before going to Cinque Terre. We chose it bc it was the only place we check in late in the evening. However, it was still not ideal since the shuttle from the La Spezia train station (closest station) stopped running at 7 so we had to pay a taxi 19 euro. It's a perfect stay if you are young and want to have fun. I was glad I stayed there (even though just for one night), but if you planning to go to Cinque Terre you'll need to get a shuttle (provided by the hostel) or a train at another city (la spezia) Ana, from Brazil ~ 12th Jul 2011

it was just really far up in the mountains and if you get there late at night you have to take a cab. also, its good that the hostel provides shuttles (you have to pay for it) to get to cinque terre or la spezia. Doreen, from USA ~ 12th Jul 2011

Basic hostel.Neat and tidy, but far from the sights of Rome.I stayed only one night here as I had to catch an early train, and for what I needed, this hostel was unbeatable at the price point.I probably wouldn't stay more than a couple nights here, however.Just very boring , and in a boring part of the city.So-so Sean, from USA ~ 16th Jul 2011

We had the most fun at this hostel. It's in a small town on the mountain, but they give you a lift to the first Chinque Terre city in the morning. The other guests were awesome! Each evening we sat out on the terrace, drank wine, talked and laughed. Thomas, from USA ~ 19th Jun 2011

The hostel staff are helpful in suggesting places to go and Biassa is a beautiful little town overlooking La Spezia. The disadvantage is that after 8pm, you can't explore cinque terre because that is the local busses last run and the shuttle the hostel offers is within half hour give or take of that. Wifi is not free...it is available at 2 euros for 1 hour and the only place it works is around the 2 computers...it will not work in your room. Also, they have a mandatory lock out time where
