This was the night we discovered we had bed bugs! Spent the entire last night up doing laundry, only to discover the night guard sleeps in that same room! Staff was pretty helpful, but the town shuts down for the majority of the day, leaving you with very little to do. Our group decided we should have visited this region for a day trip, rather than staying two nights. The hostel had a good community feel, but the location was tough to deal with. Even if it is difficult to get (away from) there on public transport, I found exactly what I was looking for: in a 5-10min walk I had beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the Tuscan Hills and at night a wonderful night sky with a couple of shooting stars o) Totally relaxing! I loved this place. It is outside of Florence- which is Great! it's in wine and olive tree land, with rolling hills and a medieval town in walking distance. It's nice and quiet and beeaauutiful. Rue, from USA ~ 29th Oct 2011
