Pension George in San Sebastian, Kreikka

Lovely bright clean room, our one had a balcony and partial sea view. Great having a fridge and we borrowed cutlery so could make our lunches. Great bakery on main road to fira. More than 15 mins walk to fira but cheap to hire atv/scooters. cool so didn't need ac on all the time. Weak Wifi. We got a lift to and from the port which was great. We got picked up at the dock. Takes about 40 mins to walk to Fira. Supermarket about 15 mins walk. Restaurants very near. The owner was the loveliest person ever.She was soooo helpful in every way and never got tired of us asking questions. It was more like a resort rather than a hostel.Lovely big swimming pool.Loved the place!!!! Lily, from New Zealand ~ 20th Aug 2011

Unfortunatly (and maybe because we stayed in July) we got one of the worst room of the pension. Located in the basement, no balcony/sundeck, the safety paper in the room said it was a 3 beds room but as we were 4 there was 4 beds... So there were no space available. You don't want to stay a long time in this dark room but you prefer to enjoy the big swimming pool in the great garden. Fira is not far (1/2h walking) but the road is going upward and there is lot of circulation. Not the best walk e Grandcolas, from France ~ 5th Aug 2011
