We were accommodated in the basement, where stuff used to be I guess. The room was dark, dirty and anyone could open the window from outside. There was nothing secure in that room. One sheet had 2 big holes in it and it wasn't very comfortable to think that someone had just been very active in this bed before. Continental breakfast - only bred, butter, coffee and milk. overrated!if u r traveling with ur male friends ist ok!but with ur familie or girlfriend,no way!location:excellent,staff:really good,but:very uncomfortable beds,we were put in the basement,the corridor stank and people in the street could look inside the room,so we had to keep the curtains always closed.we HAD to wake up every day before 8 in the morning cause when the people started to walk in the common room the floor cracked really laud!a pipe broke in the bathroom,but the problem was solved Julio, from Italy ~ 29th Sep 2012

Location is great with Russell Square and Holborn station nearby. Russell Sq. station is convenient if you have a big luggage. Overall, Pickwick Hall is a nice, cozy, quiet place. Good value for money. Intira, from Thailand ~ 15th Sep 2012
