Everyone was super nice and easy to work with.It's definitely a community atmosphere and being in that sort of environment made the trip more fun.The only issue we had wasn't even a fault with the hostel.I'd recommend this hostel to anyone, and I'd definitely stay there again. This Hostel is awesome! we stayed there for 2 nights, and it was amazing! the rooms are clean, the staff is super nice, there´s a big breakfast included! and there is a nice roof, where you can see the toronto skyline! we enjoyed our stay a lot! Bianca, from Germany ~ 13th May 2013

This place was great. Very clean, super friendly staff, amazing breakfast selection. I would definitly stay here again. There wasa pleasant roof top patio with a view of Downtown Toronto. This was the friendliest, cleanest, and funnest hostel I've ever stayed in. Aside from the extremely helpful and sociable staff, the rooms were clean and comfortable to stay in, and the facilities were excellent. There was always people around, as well as free food and refreshments. During my stay, the hostel also hosted a rooftop BBQ for guests and community members. This hostel was a very pleasant surprise.The staff was very helpful and welcoming and the facilities were always clean.Additionally, the services provided for the price were unparalleled.In addition to free Internet access, they offered a generous breakfast and also had a store of free food for residents to share.Finally, they had an area upstairs for BBQ (weather permitting of course). I personally loved this hostel and was disappointed that I wasn't able to extend my stay. It is super clean, new, and obviously well - cared for. As an older traveler I was not thrown by the lack of interaction between travelers as noted by other reviewers. I met very friendly people but folks did tend to stay within the groups they came with which I didn't mind. The neighborhood, Kensingont/slash Chinatown is great!
