The location is just alright, not the best, but definitely good enough. it is also quite secure. and the staff were kind enough to help us whenever we had a problem. but this brings me to bad things: first of all, the reception desk is closed from the evening till morning. so if you have a problem during that time, there is really nothing to be done. there is a phone you can call, but it is a local line. also when the reception desk should be attended, it is sometimes not. and so, we almost mi Itai, from Israel ~ 9th Nov 2011

The Prague Lion is really nice, and the room we had was BIG and we had it all to ourselves. The reception desk is only open from 9am-6pm which is a little annoying sometimes, but if you know it before hand it's not a big deal. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Prague Lion Hostel. The room was comfortable and clean, and I felt very secure. I was surprised and pleased to find a mini fridge and electic kettle with mugs in the room. I only dealt with one staff member - Miroslav, who was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. He even helped me find vegetarian restaurants in the area. I would stay at the Prague Lion again in a heartbeat and readily reccomend it to anyone staying in Prague. Nathan, from USA ~ 26th Jun 2011
