O hotel é simples, aconchegante, com um bom café da manhã (pago à parte), funcionários atenciosos e oferece internet wi-fi gratuita na biblioteca. Para chegar, é preciso encarar uma subida muito íngreme (comum na ilha), mas quem não quiser pagar táxi pode usar o transporte público, que deixa praticamente ao lado do hotel. Jak na cene standard bardzo przyzwoity, obsługa bardzo serdeczna i pomocna! Jednak niemilym zaskoczeniem byl fakt, ze pomimo informacji umieszczonych na stronie o darowym wifi i śniadaniu wliczonym w cene za wszystko trzeba bylo dodatkowo zaplacic:( takze wifi kosztowało nas 10 euro za caly pobyt, natomiast sniadania ok 4 euro. The rooms in the "villa" are very basic, but we were offered an "upgrade" and got one oft the rooms of the main building with a balcony to the front with a superb view over the sea and the bay of Funchal. Rooms are small but clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is basic and boring, however they have good meals in the hostels flame tree restaurant. The hostel is situated in a residential neighbourhood of Funchal about 15 min walk from the city centre. Tanja, from Germany ~ 3rd Jan 2012
