Highly recommended! I stayed at Reykjavik Downtown Hostel for 5 nights during the month of February and it was pretty quiet (shared a 10-person dorm with 2 other people), but still a great place to stay. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The whole place was clean and well kept (as is most of Iceland, it seems). Location was great, too, a few blocks away from the centre of downtown. Thank you for a wonderful experience.The staff is very throughtful.Having a disability I asked and was able to get a lower bed. The room and the bathroom were spotless (very clean).Again, I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR KINDNESS.The next time I go to Iceland I hope to stay at you hostel. This is hostel is clean, efficient, and overall the perfect place for a Reykjavik stay. Right in the center, but far enough away from all the noise. Everything is very orderly and organized and it seems like it was just built. Front staff is very kind and helpful. Visit the beauty of iceland and stay at this hostel! This hostel is absolutely fantastic.The staff is friendly, knowledgable, helpful and pretty much any activity you desire can be booked rigt there at reception.It's in the heart of Reykjavik, seconds from great restaurants and night life. It's comfort and cleanliness are comparable to that of a hotel.Security is very good and the breakfast was great.Free Internet on every floor too.
