when we check in there were people painting the ceilings (look nice) and the place is nicely decorated. the rooms were acceptably clean and spacious. there is a wifi lounge where mattress and seats are laid out for use but it would be better if wifi is accessible throughout the whole hostel, plus there is no power source to charge laptops in the lounge. I am not sure if it is the food from the rooftop restaurant but my travel mate and I started having diarrhea after having lunch there. Yen Lin, from Singapore ~ 15th Dec 2012

Really nice place to stay in Jodhpur, great view from the rooftop terrace and walking distance to the Mehrangarh. Staff is really nice and helpful and the food is good. We had a real pleasant stay in this hostel! Roel, from Netherlands ~ 18th Aug 2011

Shivam Guest house is located very near both the fort and the clock tower with lots of restaurants and shopping near to hand. The room is good sized and clean. My only suggestion would be to update the linens/blankets. Erin, from USA ~ 19th Nov 2010
