Add SMS notification with the code, please. We could not get in when we arrived in the late check in. Other guests help us open the door and give us wifi password. And only then we checked by e-mail own code for safe-box and get the keys...

Hi! That's a really good idea! We should learn how to do that =) Usually we give the guest who hasn't checked in before closing time a telephone call + of course an e-mail since lot's of people have smartphones these days.. Oh, and there are signs around the entrance with the number of our night-time telephone to reach the staff at any hour. Anyways - We're glad we had other guests who could help you =) And that you had a great time in winterwonderland-Stockholm, haha. Bye!

It was a nice hostel all around, or could have been. But the showers were disgusting to the point that I felt cleaner not showering. There was a pan in the kitchen that sat with food congealing in it for the entire stay. A male guest slept naked in the bunk across from my sister in our 8-person room which was incredibly hot, nearly unbearably so. I'd suggest a bit more oversight and attention from staff, as well as the option of single-sex rooms and an addition of ceiling or standing fans. Joelle, from USA ~ 7th Aug 2011
