Soberanis in Singapore, Meksiko

Really awful place for a resort city. It's a hotel which has several tiny rooms converted into dorms. Staff is not very friendly, they did not recognize my booking with deposit via Hostels.com, constantly and suspeciously asked - did I pay fully my stay. The worst thing is security. Hotel is located at the corner of transport hub where dodgy personalities watching you 24hrs. As a result my backpack was stolen from a car trunk. ARTEMIY, from Russia ~ 25th Sep 2011

Overall the hostel is fine, with a few drawbacks. I was in a four bed dorm, 2 bunk beds, and the room was very small. The was not way to regulate the AC and room would get very chilly and they only gave me a sheet. So I had to turn the AC on and off a couple of times during the night to be comfortable. There were only the beds in the dorm and big wooden lockers for you things, but no other furniture. The place was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the food was good in the rest Allan, from USA ~ 4th Jun 2012

Nothing wrong with the place, but things are getting old and worn out. Staff is very nice but a little passive. I do recommend it if you are travelling with tight budget Jose, from Portugal ~ 6th Mar 2012
