The Oasis hostel has a very good location which is convenient for you to go nearly everywhere by underground, which is no more than 5 minutes walk. The convenient and facilities are good. The only recommendation is that there will be better to have a kettle in the room for people to have tea of coffee. YAN, from China ~ 25th Mar 2013

The hostel was ok and location was great, but in the hostel building there where only the rooms! The reception, the common room and the bar/breakfast place was in another hostel that was 3 streets away. Even if it only took 5 minutes to go from one to other this was annoying (specially if it rains) It make no sense that I even had to go to the other hostel to have the "free access" to wifi (which actually didn't work) advertised. Great hostel. Next time I will stay in this one again. Rooms for two-three people are situated 40 meters far from the reception and bar, so it´s really quiet here. Beds are comfortable, duvets are long enough (I usually have problem with this:)). Breakfast tasty, cold buffet. I recommend this hostel! Iveta, from Czech Republic ~ 13th Oct 2012

The room was great and the location was pretty good, breakfast is included but I missed it every day. Quite loud at nights as it is on a main street, but it's London so what can you expect? Haha. My only issue was that my first morning there the hot water wasn't working in Oasis so you had to go down the street to the main hostel to have a shower. Location was great, within walking distance of South Bank, Westminster, Houses of Parliament, Tower of London, London Bridge Station. Breakfast was pretty basic (cold cereal and toast every day), but free so I can complain. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The shower is unpractical, you can't regulate the temprature of the water: not all people like to shower too hot! Some of your staff should learn to smile. In hotel business, even if you are not a star hotel: your guests should feel like they're welcome. Michèle, from Switzerland ~ 8th Jun 2012
