The location of this hostel is quite excellent (in the middle of downtwon AKL) and the staff's friendly. Those were the only advantages. The room was dirty and it seemed as if it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The bedlinen was dirty and even the new one I got from the reception was full of hair. Everybody can get in the facilities without being checked. If you want to party all night and don't need sleep you might feel comfortable here (LOUD). Terrible hostel. Really dirty, plug sockets hanging off the wall. Staff were rude and unfriendly. I had booked for 2 nights but left after just one, I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Christina, from England ~ 2nd Feb 2012
