This was a great hostel to stay at! And we like to sleep, so we had no problems because, at least at the time we were there, it was not a party hostel. We were able to nap and watch tv in the common room. Beautiful hostel with very clean kitchen, bathroom, and rooms. Beer and cider for 1lv. Anything we needed help with, the hostel workers were very friendly and helpful and always asked us what we had done and gave us free maps and recommendations. I was amazed by the warm welcome of the hostel staff, and more surprised when I was left alone in this clean and tidy hostel with all the stuff of food to electronics in the hostel. I stayed there only one night, but I guess this place has changed my concept of hostel (I had a sleazy picture of a pale place with pale bed and staff when it comes in term of hostel)............ obviously next when I go to Riga I will go there again ! .......... Our stay was fantastic! First, the location is amazing! In the old city centre, near the bus station, some grocery stores, etc. The girl from the staff was really nice, explained to us what we should see in town and gave us all the information we needed! And the place is beautiful! Nice decoration, super clean space (I wasn't even afraid of sitting directly on the big carpet in the living room area!). Also nice and clean kitchen.
