The biggest downside was the lack of kitchen.The pub downstairs was pretty cool and had a lot of locals, not just the people who stayed up stairs at the hostel, which was nice because you got to meet some real London-ers. The staff were really nice and accommodating.Not exactly in the greatest part of London though for either the atmosphere or for sightseeing. Emily, from USA ~ 4th Apr 2013

Its a very very nice hostel but be aware that DOESNT have kitchen. Also is a public pub during the night. Sometimes is good because the atmosphere, but sometimes not so much. You cant get inside with drinks (you should buythere and are expensive) and for last, if you want to have dinner, there is not private space. You should do it in the same space of the pub..... Not enough electrical outlets/sockets none by your bed. HOWEVER, staff is super friendly (and one of them is super cute) and once you head upstairs to the residential area, it is very quiet and the staff make sure of it. The facilities were clean and there were many available for use. The location is great: there are many buses that stop right in front of the hostel (77, 156) and a lot of buses that stop close to the hostel (137, N137, etc.). Helpful and nice staff, wifi works fine. But there is no kitchen and far from city center... though, if you take rail way it won't be problem. it's only 2 rail way stations away to Victoria. I topped oyster card up for 1 week, and it can be used for rail way too. And the price is amazingly good! Jihye, from South Korea ~ 19th Feb 2013

I had a good time at the hostel, but I needed to cancel the last night. I was giving more than 24 hours notice but they were not letting me cancel saying I needed to let them know by 7am. Check out time was either 11:00am or 11:30am, Check in time was some time in the after noon and I asked to cancel at around 9:30am the morning before. They were giving me so much BS.
