Very nice staff! Cosy hostel with top breakfast (especially set A). I never had such expensive laundry prices before, but also not the service that the laundry gets washed for me :) Jonas, from Germany ~ 23rd Feb 2013

We really enjoyed our stay at Trippers Carpe Diem. The hostel is clean, cosy and a good base for exploring the wonderful surroundings in Yangshuo. Moreover the staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful :) the hostel is a short walk away from town (which is very dark at nights), but when you are in Yangshuo it is preferable to stay outside of town in the beautiful surroundings instead of downtown with all the other tourists! I really didn't like the location. It's very far away from the city, and takes a long time to walk there. Also, it's super expensive during Spring Festival, so stay away from here at that time. Another thing, my parents and I ordered at the restaurant and we had to wait 1 hour for our food. Which ended up being a cold sandwich. How that takes 1 hour, not sure. Overall, wouldn't recommend it, unless you want to be alone in the country. Also, they overcharge on the tickets for the light show. Jessica, from USA ~ 27th Jan 2012
