Apart from that the exterior of building is quite disappointing, inside the hostel is surprisingly clean and new. And thanks for arranging us the window room that making our stay so pleasant.

A very comfortable stay, though the room was a bit small. Air-con is functioning well. Bedsheet is changed every day which was out of our expectation.

i was really impressed with this hostel. the room was understandably small but newly renovated (same as what they show in the video), but it housed a good sized bed with all basic in-room facilities like a small hotel. i was especially impressed with the free wifi network. it was disappointing there wasnt more of a common room to meet people, but taking into account hong kongs space issues, this is to be expected.

We had a very Plesent stay. The rooms are clean and the couple running this place are very kind and helpfull people. well done guys. I need to return next month and will stay there!

Stayed here for 2 nights in jan. 2008. USA Hostel (or hotel as they call it themselves) are located in mirador mantion. The building looks realy shitty, but once you get inside your room at the hostel it is okay. The best place to live in the city is on the Hong Kong Island, but it is very expensive, so this hostel is with the location close to the star ferry and metro one of the better. And compared to what I/we heard from other places, this hostel was quite good (Compared to Hong Kong stand

the provided glass is dirty. only one staff knows conversational english but are civil. staff don't orient guests on how to use in-room facilities even if it is self explanatory. but otherwise satisfactory quite and comfortable. and would consider coming back because of accessibility & ease.
