Great accommodation for the price. Good location - approx 1.5km out of Sorrento and could get a bus from outside the campsite or just as easy to walk - lovely scenic views on the way into town! Amenities at the site were also good - fantastic swimming pool, cheap mini-market, great view from campsite restaurant and showers/bathrooms nearby to all the tents/cabins. Also a very friendly backpackers atmosphere around the tents/cabins so good place to meet people. But....you have to be prepare

The green cabins were just right and the bungalows even better!great camping, we enjoyed the location/area so much we booked an extra night. Had previously read other reviews about this site...and for those that complained about ants...hey, it's camping! You're lucky you don't have to worry about bears!

Village Camping has a wonderful location. Located on the outskirts of Sorrento with a great view of the sea. The facilities were nice, but the bathroom was outside and sometimes did not have toilet paper. Overall, the staff were friendly and the price was good. I would stay there again.

It was ok, nice place and clean. A little far from the center of the city but we took the bus. Orange and lemon trees all around. They have a minimarket, a pizzeria and a nice pool. The problem in Italy is the beach, they have no sand, only rocks. We visited Pompeii, Positano and Capri Island. Sorrento is a strategical location to visit the rest of Amalfi Coast.

Dirty to the point of being dangerously unsanitary particulary in the shared kitchen which was virtually unusable - no running water, cleaning facilities etc.

Ver nice place... we stayed in a cabin, we enjoyed it even if it was very cold. No heating but the staff gave us some extra covers. Great location, the view from the beach on the bay is gorgeous and it is only 15/20mins walk from the town center (buses every 10mins). Hopefully we will go back there one day!

Nice place, helpful staff, definitely recommend. Maybe the quietest place I stayed in all of Italy. I stayed in one of the house tents, which are definitely waterproof - a huge storm came through but no water leakage! Bring your own toilet paper. You'll need an "E1" bus ticket, and Line A does not pick up at the train station but at Tasso Square.

Overall, Santafortunata was perfectly fine. My only complaint is that they don't provide any toilet paper. The camp ground is along the coast line and has access to some secluded (but rocky) beaches. You can walk from Sorrento to Santafortunata, the walk really isn't that bad; just watch out for the cars as there is not much (if any) sidewalk.
