A good choice if you don't want the heart of Kuta. Legian is about a 20 minute walk to Kuta and the craziness and another 15 or 20 minute walk to the world class Kuta beach. The best things about the Warung Coco is the incredibly helpful staff and the very good cooked to order breakfast. For me, TravelinAlan, I loved the food choices on our street, especially SFC, Sofie Fried Chicken, a food stall. KFC should only be that good and that cheap. Alan, from USA ~ 13th Apr 2013

Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi signal was above average for Bali. Room was clean and quiet. Overall great value for money. It's not in the heart of the tourist strip in Kuta, but walking distance away so you have the benefit of being close enough to Kuta/the beach and far enough to get some authentic warung food. Because the room are spread across a series of buildings, the only downside is people don't really congregate anywhere so it's harder to meet people at the hostel. John, from Canada ~ 31st Mar 2013

Very unfriendly and not honest people. I had forgotten in Feb 2013 some documents with sensitive informations like my bank account informations incl. access codes, my Identity card and two international sim cards in the room. Sent them the exact amount money and an envelope with my address for a 100 gr. registered surface post to send my documents back. As advertised, a 1 to 2 star place with bare bones facilities. Service & staff, however, are superb! Blown away by the friendliness & overall service. Free juice, upon arrival, & free breakfast are quite nice. A reasonably comfortable bed in a minimally air-conditioned room were acceptable. Not the cleanest room, but reasonable, especially @ the price. Not in the heart of party areas, & a bit of a stroll to the beach, but overall a nice value & worth the visit. Decent place to stay, but nothing to write home about. If what you're looking for is a fairly clean, and basic room with little character, this is the place.
