It really stands out on the river side and reviewing it under the terms that some small love story begun here for me, I feel it will be biased. I realy enjoyed the common area including a grungy pool table and a bar area. The staff is great in helping you organising for example a "Yangtze River Cruise" or just find your way around. The toilets and showers were fairly clean, as were the rooms. Even when they didn't have any bed left, they asked somebody to share a private room with me. Sven, from Germany ~ 28th Mar 2013

Basically, in my opinion, a top-notch hostel. I don't have anything serious to complain about. It was clear to me from the first moment that this hostel is well managed, and they have things figured out. They cover all the bases, attentive staff, decent lounge, good location, and the standard hostel facilities. This is among the better hostels I have stayed at in China. Absolutly nice and hospitable Hostel in a good neighbour hood and very central to the city center. The stuff was very polite and helped a lot by stuff like train booking etc. I was really apreciating the stay although it was really short.thx Sven Sven, from Germany ~ 10th Sep 2012

Awesome hostel at great location! We expierenced four great days, in an ecellent hostel. Very clean and tidy rooms, good food a value prices (try sechuan pepper) and were impresses by the city itself. We must undeline the excellent service by the reception's staff.
