Hot breakfast was awesome! Rooms were clean. This was one of the nicest hostels I stayed at.

Stayed four nights and got a 8-bed dorm in the basement, which was old, tiny, damp and smelly, with quite a lot of mould in the run-down bathroom. This dorm was the worst I have ever slept in. I complained about it and the nice staff lady arranged a change for the following nights. One of the managers denied the bad state of the first bedroom, though, and got pretty aggressive. First impression is awe with the amazing wall murals, red & black theme and character features intact...LOVELY! Most of the desk staff was kind and helpful. But, I don't get the hype about the breakfast. Yes, it's buffet style with the usual cereal & juice plus fruit cocktail out of a can (no fresh fruit). Then you have the typical English/Irish? breakfast - fried eggs dripping in oil, greasy bacon, deep fried (previously frozen) hashbrown triangle, bland sausage and cold toast. You can have as

This is an excellent hostel, the staff are friendly, its clean, with an easy walk to the city centre. Make sure you're up for the breakfast, a cure for the worst hangovers.
