they overbooked so i stayed at Isaacs, next door (even though i booked weeks in advance).. so this review is for isaacs

When we arrived we have been told, that we 're too early to check in. We put our bags in to the luggage-room (our group paid 7€ for this). When we came back 3 hours later they told us they'd overbooked so we got sent to two (!) other hostels, one worse than the other! Sorry, my English is not very good! If you could not understand what I mean: Stay away! Never again!

very noisy, not big enough kitchen or commmon room. Poor layout with common room acting as a mass reception really. Booked a 6 day tour with them which was excellent and the standard of accomodation on the tripfar exceeded this hostel.
I've stayed here 4 times now, and I'll keep coming back. It's fun and relaxed. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It's close to the main streets including temple bar (of course).
Great staff at this hostel they are all so friendly and really helpful, the bathroom was tiny and only one shower for the 10 bed female dorm, but otherthan that it was a good hostel.
