very nice hostel, i dont like being in big tourist areas of a city (think khaosan road in bangkok), so you dont like that kind of area, i wouldn't stay here, but it is centralized, and close to everything you would want to see. Staff was courteous, and the excursions are all available by the hostel, they are very accomdoating (as i changed my excursion date about 5 times) and they helped me without any problems at all.
In general a good hostel if you look at the price .. it has a perfect location, but you get what you pay for .. but in general +++
