great campsite just 20 minutes or so from venice, shuttlebus from the camp. nice pool. just note that it seemed to be mainly italian families on vacation, so don't expect to meet so many other fellow backpackers. then i think maybe the other plus camp in venice is better.

We stayed in the house tents and the security in those is pretty poor. You can lock the door but the door can easily be unvelcroed and removed from the frame. In addition, we were eaten alive by mesquitos so bring bug spray in the summer. the toilets are in the same stalls as the showers so the toilet paper is always soaked, not good. They did have a shuttle bus into venizia so that was nice. You get what you pay for, we certainly did.

Was quite an effort to actually get to there, but once you are the staff are really helpful and everything you need is at the ready. We stayed in one of the \'two bed tents\' which was more like a shed house made out of tent material with a locking door, lights etc...it was brilliant and an interesting/funny break from the dorms we\'d had so far! they\'re pretty sturdy too...not even a huge storm got through ours.

we had the private tent which is lockable, but the whole thing is just velcro so anyone can break in, as long as they\'re intelligent enough to work velcro..but its a good deal for the price..bar and restaurant reasonable..internet is 5euro and hr!! cheaper than in venice itself tho..getting there is an absolute nightmare! wen the directions tell u its the 2nd busstop, it means that there r up to 5 busstops all with the same name and each will have a tiny number in the corner... and also the walk is longer than they say too..and creepy..bathrooms have showers and toilets together in stalls which sucks in the morning shower/pee rush..and they\'re DISGUSTING! mud is tracked in from everywhere, no toilet paper, smells, never cleaned as far as we could tell and not enough stalls for the entire camp..cheap laundry..
