This place needs an overhaul, painting, better bunkbeds that don't shake when you move on the top bunk, residents that show some consideration for other people instead of having music blaring out of an amp in a dorm and giving out when he was asked to turn it down, especially at 1am!! Will definitely not be returning here.

Its maybe not the cleanest place on earth, but the location is just perfect!! be aware that internet is not free ($1 for 10 minutes) but there is a public library with free internet access near Hollywood/Vine metro station.
you really need to re-do the place up and have lockers in all rooms, fix the beds paint the walls, do up the bath rooms, do something with the kitchen and dont treat the hostel like an easy way to make a fast buck but treat it like a place that has a lot of charm to do well if you correct the above, the location sells the hostel know make it the hostel every one will talk about
The room and bathrooms were not cleaned even once during our stay and quite possibly days before we checked in.

The toilet is not as clean as you want, but still not quite dirty. Staff is friendly and helpful. Perhaps a little more information about local areas and bus routes can be added. The decor is OK.
