Lovely, peaceful and you feel like you are contributing something just by staying there. Staff very friendly, nothing is too much trouble, although English a bit limited. Recommended if you want to escape the noise of Plaza De Armas. Taxi to centre USD1.
Very quiet tranquil place to stay - within easy reach of town but away from hustle and bustle - good for families.Shower and bathroom very clean, kept up well by friendly staff.
This hostel is in the grounds of a children's clinic (it's run as a charity to raise funs for the clinic). Security is top rate - we had no qualms leaving our big rucksacks when we went trekking. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and for anyone looking for wifi - it was excellent in the lobby and the room. A little out of town (a 3 soles taxi ride) but well worth the effort if you're looking for a place a little away from the hustle and bustle with good breakfasts and helpful staff.
