very nice place with many typical bedwin sofas to relax and have a narguile, swimming pool and friendly staff. excellent place for snorkling (beautiful corals and fish). Great rooms with climatized air, and tents for lower budget but beware of heat and mosquitos. its about 10kms far from aqaba so you need to take a bus or taxis to get there.

The place was definitely well-kept, clean, and surprisingly nice for its low cost. Unique atmosphere with tents, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and friendly staff. However, I have two sticking points: the location is terrible. Sure, it's close to the beach, but it's very far from Aqaba and the Israeli border. I was not entirely oblivious to this -- I knew it was not in downtown Aqaba -- but I didn't realize it was *this* far; the Saudi Arabian border must have been right around the corner. Also, the place did not feel secure. The gate at the front did not lock well and the tents, obviously, don't lock either. I had my laptop with me and I basically slept holding on to it. There isn't 24-hour reception, so it seems the only security provided is the fact that the Garden Village is in a remote location.

the bedouin garden village is located a short taxi ride away from Aqaba but i found this to be an advantage. a short walk away from the red sea and even rents snorkling gear. we were there in the low season so it was very quiet but with no less than four lounge areas as well as a pool on site i can only imagine how busy it must be in the high season. i would definatley tell my friends to stay here, especially if they want to be outside the city and close to the beach.

I booked a four bed dorm and ended up in a tent.

i booked a room...which turned out to be a tent. i ended up paying more when i got there to solve this. the room was nice, good shower, clean. the staff was nice. just kindof misleading. the beach that it is on was very nice...though the place is at least 10km outside of aquaba. i would stay there again though, was a very cute place.
