very nice place, simple and quite on beach and with beautiful garden. for brekfast the best pinepple pancake on the island

Property is a bit run down. They did not pick us up in Lombok although we had arranged it. It was expensive compared to much better accommodation on Gil Trawangan.

This place was beautiful. The mid-range huts at the front were best, but went without hot water for the sake of it. Not really a problem on a tropical Island.

It is worth noting that the superior rooms with aircon and hot water don't have the great sea view. the big plus was the size of room and the vernandah looking onto the sea. however we had a very unpleasant experience with the owner. While our booking with hostels.com clearly says that the deposit is part of the total cost the owner insisted that we pay him the whole amount in addition to the deposit. Also note that the food was the worst we had in 3 weeks in indonesia - packet noodles and carrots. The location is great because it's quite and unobstructed view of the harbour but is a good 10/15 min walk to the restaurants.
Wonderful friendly staff who go out of their way to help. The hotel was very quiet and a real escape from hustle & bustle.
