The place is well located but is not in good conditions, the bathrooms are a mess and if you book a room with a shower inside the most probable is that it wont work. The staff is not nice at all and they expect you to leave your room before 9. There is only one key per room which implies that somebody inside the room has to open the door at any time.

Nice place to stay and comfortable rooms. Includes wifi service (just a bit expensive) and has a laundry nearby.
It's not a bad place to stay and is pretty cheap if you just need a roof over your head in the middle of Paris, but other than that there is not much to it. One thing I found is that you need to stash your bags in the Train station early in the morning before their lockers get full (I came in the afternoon). Blue Planet's bag storage is practically outside, so don't store stuff there if it's raining!

seeing how breakfast was a vending machine, have it open earlier so that people who get up early and have to travel can still get breakfast.

alright hostel for europe. for paris though it has to be one of the better ones.
