The place has a great location on a great beach. Even though the staff do not really speak any English, they try to be very helpful. Not every room has internet, so please confirm ahead of time. Very clean and secure place. Would definitely stay again.

The beds are clean though the room needs a new furnish. The most serious shortfall is the security problem there. I found I had lost my pair of expensive Versus sunglasses when I stayed there at 12/5/08. I had left my key to the front desk when I went to swim that evening without taking it out. I found my sunglasses have gone after I left the hostel next morning. Not sure if someone broke into my room or one of the staff stole it. I wish the manager can look into the security matter seriously!

Well, first of all this is a bad location, secondly they wouldn't give our sick friend and new clean sheets. Thirdly they wouldn't provide us with towels our 7th and 8th night there, for some unknown reason. This is a shitty hostel/hotel with no English speaking staff. No organization, horrible prices etc. When you say internet access you shouldn't mean we must bug the workers for their computer. When you say a comfortable stay and you pay 500 RMB you shouldn;t mean you stay on uncomfortable beds that don't suit couples, (or anyone else for that matter). When you say 1 minute from the beach you should mean an inhabital beach. Need I go on. Was the worst stay in any place I've been to in China. And I've been around, for a lot less money. You should not stay here. There are many places more siutable no matter the situation. Don't do it!

The location of hostel is very convenient. The personnel helped to find all the necessary excursions , solved problems. The unpleasant moment - any fine ants on a floor...
