Ok place except during the night I was woken by some lad claiming to be booked into my bed and the reception is not open 24h and the contact number for such an occurance did not work.

the place is nice and the "kitchens" are warm and welcomming. "Ensuite" rooms are just perfect (even if they are a little small), the shared bathroom however is not very private (only the showers are lockable). The hostel is not far away from an S-BAHN and from an U-BAHN.

Small and crowded, but nice athmosphere! The staff is very friendly and the rooms are OK. The location is great, so there's nothing to really complain about!

This hostel provided the basics at a great price and great location. We had a private room with a private lock, shared the bathroom and kitchen, and the main entrance was locked by electronic code. Being directly on the route for the walking tour pickup was also a plus. The restroom area may be a little cramped for those used to a little more, but it's acceptable for the hostel lifestyle. One drawback was that the kitchen is really quite small, so when guests decide they want to get out of their rooms into the only common room there, it can get a bit claustrophobic. Things seemed clean in general, but since we brought out own sheets, we didn't notice till we were leaving that there were actually dirty sheets left on the bed from someone else... oops!
