The Vita Nova is a cosy ship located in the centre of Amsterdam near to the central railway station,Nemo,Red light and Citycenter.
Included in the price are both bedlinen,internet and towel.And every morning a Dutch breakfast service is provided.
The ship has 24 cabins with bunk beds, five showers and six separate toilets. Available for hire are 20 X 2 persons cabins and 3 X 1 person cabins. Showers and toilets are shared..Bike hire is close by the hostel

Please note checking in times are Sunday - Thursday 2pm till 10.30pm. Friday and Saturday 2pm- 11.00 pm

I like the location its away from the center which is good when in Amsterdam but still only a 10 minute walk if we wanted to go. I don't like the curfew , we had no access to internet or the lounge after 10pm and shower s as well. Which by the way if your above 5 foot will be very uncomfortable also if your a group of three or more don't book it the rooms are too small even for a boat me and my mates had to strategies who got to change first etc. Breakfast was good though free and decent.
