We're perfectly located in the heart of the city, a few minutes walking from the famous Las Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya , Barceloneta beach and Montjuic mountain - where you can relax and enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the city. All of the most interesting places in Barcelona - museums, parks, shops, theatres, pubs and much more - are just around the corner!

We have the best-quality services, with two-to-eight-bed mixed dorm rooms, lockers, shared facilities (including lounge, home cinema and kitchen), organized activities, free internet and Wi-Fi and much more. Linens, large lockers and internet are included in the price and our lounge is so comfortable that you'll want to spend the whole day inside and might even forget about going out. We also provide you with nice music, good vibrations, and lots of movies and books.

We're backpackers like you. If you are someone who wants to make new friends, have a beer, enjoy the hostel atmosphere, and discover Barcelona, then come and enjoy! We offer various activities and parties throughout the week but we're not a party hostel; that means we're very strict about noise at night. We're happy if you enjoy Barcelona's night life but we're also very concerned about allowing people to rest.

Located in Poble sec, a district with a lot of very old architecture, the hostel's building was constructed in 1893; that make's our home a very special place. It's a multicultural and colourful district with many local restaurants providing traditional 'tapas', pubs with cold beer, discos with good music, amazing dance parties, and much more.

Mambo Tango is all about providing good travelling experiences and was founded on the ideals of respect and high standards. This has been our continuing strength, and we wish to keep it that way. We do not tolerate, under any circumstances, disrespectful and disruptive behaviour; in particular poor behaviour resulting from irresponsible drinking. In short, we don't like disrespectful people! If this isn't okay with you, there are plenty of other places in Barcelona that can fulfil your needs.

Mambo Tango is located in Poblesec, a multicultural district, in the city centre. It is just a few minutes walk to Las Ramblas and Catalunya square and other attractions! It was established by Toti and Maria, who are backpackers themselves and wished to run a respectful and peaceful hostel for like-minded travellers.

The hostel provides air-conditioned dorm rooms catering for 2, 4 and 8 people rooms with shared bathroom facilities, kitchen, lounge, home cinema, free internet access and more. The hostel has a bar which serves a range of beers and juices and is ideal for conversation with other guests. The hostel also serves "real" espresso coffee!

Come to Mambo if you want to feel at home. Even if you're traveling by yourself you will meet other people and have nice quiet nights, activities, walking tours, good music and STAFF TREATING YOU LIKE FAMILY. We offer activities and parties everyday but we are not a party hostel , so we never make party inside the hostel and we are very strict about noise at nights.
Remember we are happy if you enjoy Barcelona's nights but we are also happy about letting people have a nice rest!!

Please be very careful about pick pockets in barcelona, they make very good tricks, be aware specially at the metro , plaça espanya and plaça catalunya when you are arriving with all your belongings on you, never leave your bag for a second!!!!! And also at all the tourist atractions!(tricks: they throw sauce on your bag, so you leave the bag on the floor for a second and it's gone! and many more tricks!!! please take care)
