Hotel Misty Woods is located in the picturesque and tourist town of Mcleodganj near Dharamsala in the lap of snow clad Dhauladhar ranges at Himalayan Kangra valley. Mcleodganj is also home to H.H. Dalai Lama, a spiritual leader of Tibetan community.
The hotel offers beautiful and luxurious room / apartment with mountain /forest views, private balconies, satellite television, tea / coffee making facilities and much more. Regular visitor's to this property will know it in the name of Sheraton cottage, which is now renovated with many additions for the comfort of the guests and upgraded to Hotel Misty Woods. The services still remain the same.
Mcleodganj is a place for relaxation, a place to unwind yourself. For the adventurous souls, this place does have spectacular and adventurous treks to Triund and crossing Dhauladhar ranges to reach Chamba.
Dharamshala is accessible via train from Pathankot which is 100 km away. The nearest airport is Gaggal at Kangra, which is just 15 km away. There is a daily flight from Dharamshala to Delhi. Daily buses ply from Mcleodganj to Delhi.
Misty Woods has 10 rooms of different categories,Standard,Deluxe ,super deluxe and an Appartment.Most of the rooms have Balconies and the one which dont have balconies,the guests from those rooms can sit up on the roof top terrace and enjoy the beautiful view of the Dhauladhar Mountains.All the rooms have attached Bathrooms and hot water facility.Misty Woods has its own Parking for the guests for cars and the bikes.This hotel provides value for money and concentrate on guest satisfaction.All the good Restaurants of Mcleodganj is just 2-5 minutes Walking away from the Misty Woods. Most of the rooms have lcd TV,s. and in the near future planning to make this hotel as a WI FI hotel.
Timing of the reception counter is from 7.00am to 10.00 pm. everyday. There is staff member in the reception for almost 24 hrs. In order to confirm the booking of the room ,the guests have to deposit atleast 50% as an advance for the total booking in order to confirm the booking.

We had a very good stay despite the fact that my girlfriend (who is pregnant with twins) fell ill with stomach aches when we arrived. We were worried because of her pregnancy but the hotel owner Raman helped us find a good hospital and walked us through the whole thing. My girlfriend got better after a few days in hospital and we enjoyed the rest of our vacation in the beautiful mountains in a very nice hotel room. Enjoyed my stay at Misty Woods. Really helpful and kind host! When he heard that we were offered overcharged price for paragliding, he actually went to the company to help us reason with the boss (maybe its because he know the boss, that's why he dare to/can do that?) The rooms are cleaned daily, the towels, sheets etc were quite clean. The host provided us a tourist map to help us get around and recommended good food places to us! Really friendly and helpful!
