We are an established International Youth Hostel in Central Durban just two minutes walk from the famous Golden Mile. A renovation is in order. There were cockroaches in the room!!! :( My uncle couldn't finish his beer because a cockroach was swimming in it!
All critism is welcomed as it aids us in producing a better product . One would have to blind not to have noticed the extensive renovations being undertaken ie painting and tiling of the entire backpackers . Durban is Sub-tropical and cockroached do happen , if you had complained your room would have been sprayed . But in the beer bottle Really . Bananas is the only backpackers in Durban run and owned by Zulu women and it saddens us when someone is economical with the truth
