Fenghuang Biancheng Hostel is the Chinese name of Fenghuang border International Youth Hostel,which is located on Hong bridge Middle Road,only 100 meters from the center of the town. It only takes you 3-5 minutes to walk from the hostel to the places of attraction in the town,eg:Tuojiang,East Gate,Rainbow street,House of Sheng Congwen.
We offer five different kinds of rooms:
-Superior Viewing Room;
-Standard Room( deluxe SR and ordinary SR);
-Single Room(deluxe SR and ordinary SR);
-Three-bed Room;
-Four-bed Mixed Dorm.
Except the Four-bed mixed dorm,every room has an independent washingroom,24 hour hot water,satellite TV,air conditioner and kettle;
Several rooms have the independent computers;
Four-bed dorms have the shared washing rooms and 24 hour hot water;
One thing worth mentioning is that the viewing room has an open view that you can appreciate the scene of the most town through the French window.What's more,the viewing room has a balcony,where you can enjoy the beautiful scene and delicious tea all the time!

What's more,Fenghuang border International Youth Hostel is also a amazing place for you to make friends with young people. We have a music coffee bar,which is called 'To love bar',in the Hostel.You can eat dessert,drink beverages,sing songs,chat with the travellers,surf the Internet and play board games here!Every weekend,we would invite local bands for wonderful performances.What's more,you can show yourself on the stage of our 'To love bar' if you are brave enough!

I was helping to coordinate a group of student volunteers travelling through Fenghuang for a few days. We called about one week before our arrival just to make sure everything was good. However, when we arrived we called the hostel for directions and were told that the power was out. After prying further, we discovered this was a cover for the fact that they had sold our room to someone else and we were stranded without a place to stay for the night. We have stayed in many hostels in China and this hostel is by far the worst. It was very expensive for a hostel and had limited services. No towels were provided, at least in most other hostels you can hire them. The state of the rooms are very dirty, smelly carpet and mouldy walls.We paid extra to have air conditioning, which cut out during both nights. The staff were hopeless at providing information.
