Glow Worm Cottages guests are now being looked after at our sister hostel Chateau Franz Backpacker and Motel. Shane and Zoe would love to welcome you to Chateau Franz whilst Glow Worm Cottages undergoes what will be a fantastic renovation! Chateau Franz will be your home away from home offering the same accomodation for the same price, just a stones throw from Glow Worm Cottages in the heart of the beautiful Franz Josef!
We have a cozy log fire, hot bubbly spa pool, Sky TV lounge and serve delicious free homemade vegetable soup in the evenings. All of our 4 share units have ensuite facilities so there is never a long queue for the shower in the morning! Our friendly staff are always happy to help with local knowledge and activity information and with booking the next part of your journey.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at this hostel. We didn't use the kitchen area and the hot tub was closed by time we got there.But our room and bathrooms were clean and it was a good location. Sherry, from USA ~ 5th Mar 2013
