Haikou Twinstar Youth Hostel is the ideal choice for you to stay in Haikou.
There are 7 type of rooms:
- Single Bed Room (Ensuite)
- Queen Bed Room (Ensuite)
- Twin Bed Room (Ensuite)
- Triple Room (Ensuite)
-Family Room (Ensuite)
- 6-bed Dorm (Ensuite)
- 4-bed Dorm (Ensuite)
and you can use free WiFi at lobby areas.
Our hostel is in the Haidian Island(Hǎi diān dǎo), located in the north of Haikou. From our hostel it is very convenient to get to every corner of Haikou city.Very close to Baishamen Beach and Hainan University,Clock Building(Zhōngl�u),Old Centre Town(Q�l�u lǎo jiē), Ever Green Park(W�n lǜ yu�n),Guomao(shopping and bar area),Century Bridge(Sh�j� d�qi�o),Haikou Park(Hǎikǒu gōngyu�n) and Mingzhu square(shopping area),etc.
We have two very big lobby areas, you can play Guitar & Pool & Table football & Chess & enjoy high-quality local coffee & High-quality imported wine & Free public computers & simple bar area & 43'' TV and DVD. In front of our buildings there is a yard with a beautiful garden sheds, we also put some outdoor furniture there. We have a large terrace (about 200 square meters),put some simple tables and coin-operated self-service laundry. There is a very famous bar street in Haidian Island-- Heping Avenue Bar Street, our hostel is just close to that bar street(opposite side of the main road ).

The hostel is a very bright and neat property combined with 2 same buildings, just like 2 shinning stars, so the hostel's name is twinkle star. All the rooms with A/C, Ensuite ,Tea pot and very comfortable IKEA furniture, some rooms with big TV, two spacious lobbies with couches and public computers that are always to be occupied freely in any time. Staff at the reception always do their best to be friendly and helpful to guests.
FREE WiFi is available all of our rooms and two communal areas – where we also put a pool table, a ping-pang table and a foosball for relaxing and meeting fellow guests. Free luggage storage is provided at the reception, train, coach tickets and laundry service with extra charges are also available.

This place is not a place I would recommend, if you can't speak chinese. The staff really wants to help you but they can not speak english, which maked the communication difficault for us. When we arrived the bathroom was very wet, and there were a lot og mosqitoes in the room. And eventhough we tried to close the door to the outside, the door was so bad, that it could not close completly. From the airport and the railway station it takes around 30 min with a taxi. Jonas V. nice, new hostel, a bit hard to find, worth the money, very clean, staffs are generally helpful, it have big front yard for some beers and drinks, can make a few new friends if stay longer leo, from Canada ~ 7th Nov 2012
