Old City Hostel offers a comfortable and unforgettable stay in the heart of the Sultanahmet district. It is situated in a 100-year-old building that was renovated in April, 2012. Old City Hostel takes pride in its modern vibe and high quality standards.

Needless to say, Sultanahmet holds the city’s most principal historical sights. Hagia Sofia, The Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace are located across the street from our hostel. The Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar, İstanbul’s famous historical bazaars, are within a 10-minute walking distance.

We have three bright, spacious dormitories with big windows, two of which are mixed and one is for females only. Each dormitory has 8 beds. The total occupancy of the hostel is 24 guests.

At Old City Hostel, you will enjoy a complimentary Turkish breakfast that consists of boiled eggs, kasseri cheese, white cheese, salami, green and black olives, sliced tomato, sliced cucumber, butter, jam and fresh bread, with Turkish coffee or tea.

Our cafe-bar is the perfect place to hang out and enjoy a coffee or drink, including beer and cocktails. In addition, Old City Hostel offers an outdoor seating area at the entrance, where you can enjoy a Turkish shisha (hooka).

Our summer roof-terrace has a stunning view over the very famous Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. It is a cozy space to chill out, read a book or meet with our international guests.

We can not offer an open-kitchen due to the lack of cooking facilities for now, but our staff would do their best to help you even with limited conditions.
