is located in the 'Nishijin' kimono textile area of Kyoto.
Also, near to the Imperial Palace and Nijo-Jo castle.
The architecture of 'VENTEN' is in Kyotos traditional 'Machiya' style, built over 100 years ago.

The design of Venten is a unique blend of traditional Japanese style and ethnic style as an expression of the Silk Road trade route that reached Japan in old times.

You can relax within VENTENs comfy interior and in the Japanese garden, whilst enjoying VENTENs calm and unique atmosphere.
The gardens atmosphere which spreads through the depths of the guesthouse also contains a 'Jinen' art garden designed by the guesthouse owner.

Luggage can be left and stored at Venten before check in (if you wish to do so please inform us before arriving).
