Rome's best loved and most cosmopolitan hostel. City center location only two steps away from the central station Termini. Dorms and private rooms are available. Everything you could possible want is nearby and the best and cheapest food places are in the hostel area. Des Artistes is in easy walking distance from major sites.

Des Artistes has an annexe part of the building where some doubles and triple private rooms with shared bathroom are located. So if you book a room for two or three people with shared outside bathroom, it will be located either in Via Villafranca or Via Sapri, at max. 300 metres from the reception area in Via Villafranca.

LOCAL CITY TAX
For all guest bookings with the period of stay from 1st January 2011 onwards, a local tax of 2,- Euro per person per day must be paid. This is an additional charge and is not included in the room rate. You have to pay it directly in the hostel in cash only.

Payment policy :
Payment is upon arrival in CASH ONLY

Preauthorization on card as a guarantee :
Kindly note that the credit card required at the time of booking is as a guarantee only and a few days before due arrival we will run a small verification that funds are sufficient, and this for the amount of the first night. This is not a payment, however the sum will be as a result frozen and therefore will be unavailable for the next few weeks. On your bank statement it may show as a pending payment whereas in fact it is only a preauthorization which expires automatically, and money then reverts to your account.

Cancellation policy:
You should give us 3 full days notice before arrival of your cancellation by email or fax. Failing to do so will result in a one-night charge on your card. No modifications can be made without charge after the 3 full days prior arrival cancellation deadline. We don't accept phone cancellations.
Valid credit card details are required to guarantee your booking.

* a 10 euro refundable deposit is required up front.

Our hostel has a no smoking policy, spacious dorm rooms and private rooms. Breakfast is not included. Age limit of 36 years for our dorms and when booking a party of more of 1 bed we cannot guarantee that all guests will be staying in the same room/s. Payment upon arrival in CASH only.
Garage is available in the area nearby at surcharge.
WiFi internet access available in the entire structure at an additional cost.
