On The Rock Hostel offers clean, comfortable and safe accomodation.We have dormitories and private rooms.
The majority of our rooms have a seaview and there is a large terrace to chill out and make further travel plans. Breakfast is available (R$ 10) and eventually we will teach how to cook some traditional dishes from Bahia to our visitors.
The hostel is owned and mangaged by local Augusto and expat Thomas , experienced travellers, who are keen to help. They will love to show you the hidden corners and local favourites of Salvador. Portuguese,spanish, german, french and english is spoken.

If you have to cancel your booking, you must do it at least 48hrs before arrival.

If you book between December 15th and March 15th you will be charged 50% in advance in order to secure your booking (non refundable), you may be contacted by the property requesting the CVV code of the credit card used for this booking or asked for a deposit. During Carnaval we request that you pay 100% in advance 30 days before arrival.
Our hostel is not suitable for users of wheelchairs as we don´t have elevators. There are no other restrictions, everybody is most welcome. It´s worth to notice, that our hostel is in front of the sea, so there is a constant sound of waves clashing at the wall of the hostel.
