Kallang River II Hostel is a small, newly opened hostel. Our excellent location on the train network also makes us easy to reach from the airport, 15km away. The hostel is clean and safe and provides good value for money for those on a budget or for those on stopovers wanting a good night's sleep.
We have welcomed backpackers, students, working vacationers, long-stayers and guests from pretty much the whole world. We have helpful and friendly staff along with all the basic necessities including complimentary local maps, air-conditioning, Free WIFI & Internet (PC Access), clean sheets/quilt, free lockers, hot showers, laundry services, Minimart, BEER..and much more!
Check-in time 1pm, check out 12pm. if you need to check in other than that time, please just email us, we will be able to assist you.

Worst hostel I ever stayed!Located next to Thai massage looking like a den of prostitutes.Loud music from neighbor till past midnight, very poor sleep for me.A homeless shelter may have better restroom and shower.Staffs do not speak enough English.Small bath towels are S$3 each for rental, while other area hostels charge only S$1.Smoky hallway from intruding guests at nights.Just do not feel safe at all.Travelers beware!Hostel.com should remove this listing! What you see in the pictures is what you get.The location is excellent, super short walk on the MRT station of Kallang.No TV, 3 common bathrooms with hot & cold showers.The staff is OK but don\'t expect them to accommodate you in the morning.They are all sleeping, could not wake up despite loud knocks in the door.They are available lunch time onwards.Security is not very good, they will not give the tenants a key to the room, so don\'t leave your valuables.Aircon is not very cold.
