At Balmain Backpackers we offer free work assistance, free car parking, free internet and free breakfast. We also provide tea and coffee making facilities all day, late check-out, and a complimentary DVD library. On Sunday's we cook up our open BBQ for our guests!
We are 7 minutes by bus from the city centre in the lovely Sydney suburb of Balmain/Rozelle. Friendly, relaxed fun atmosphere where people are warm and where it is easy to make friends.
Reception is open 10am to 5pm, 7 days a week. Check-out: 11am. Check-in: 2pm. We are happy to arrange check-in outside of office hours, but only by appointment. Please email us to let us know if you'll be arriving outside of these times. We have a minimum 3 nights stay No Australians. For Xmas and NY see 'Hostel Conditions'

This place is a dive! Rooms are tiny, cold & damp (I was there in Spring). Loads of long-term people staying there cos it\'s cheap so their stuff is everywhere. Bathrooms dirty. Kitchen tiny, only regular fridges so not enough room to put your food in the fridge. No cups. Would not recommend to anyone, wouldn\'t stay there again.
