Next to the Tai-Ping River and facing to the Pacific Ocean, Mafut\'e is located in an aboriginal tribal
community of Amis (the largest population of aboriginal tribe in Taiwan).

In Amis tribal language, \'Mafut\'e\' means \'Going to Sleep\', by which we are wishing our guests having a nice sleep and dream here in our hostel.
