!!DIRECTIONSTO!! La Lanterna B&B, Padua

From the station with the new Metrotram get off at Pontevigodarzere.

For those who arrive by car get out to Padova Ovest and:
At the exit, keep left at the fork, follow signs for Padova / Vicenza / Selvazzano inside and entered in the road;
Take the first exit ramp to Venice / Castelfranco and the North Freeway (attention to this because next exit on the right of that there is a smaller road not to take);
Take the first exit towards Vigodarzere / Centre; At the roundabout take the 3rd exit and take Via Pontevigodarzere;
Turn right under the bridge and right into Via Antonio Ferrero;
Take the first left at Via Ferdinando Bettini;
Take the first right to stay on Ferdinand Bettini. The house is the second on the left. On the bell ring of the left gate there is shown the name La Lanterna B&B.

Padua has its own airport for private planes, but with no direct commercial connections. However, three international airports are conveniently located nearby:

Venezia Marco Polo (VCE), 50km, lot of destinations throughout Europe.
by bus: direct and frequent connections to Padova, 1h
by train: bus to Venezia Mestre station, then train.

Treviso (TSF), 42km, low-cost airport with Ryanair and other carriers.
by bus: direct and frequent connections to Padova, 1h10 - see SITA website - choose Linee Regionale, then Veneto, then Orari Linee Veneto; last bus leaves airport around 20.00 or 20.25 depending on day of week.

Verona Valerio Catullo (VRN) , 88km, many domestic flights and some international destinations (also low-cost)
by train + bus.
