Travelling by rail:

Hvz does not have any direct railway communication. Passengers can get to the town by coach from the two closest railway stations in Keszthely and Balatonszentgyrgy.
Travelling by bus

There are several direct lines from Budapest to Hvz or touching Hvz. Hvz has good communications by coach not only with the capital but all the larger settlements in Hungary. Several hundreds of coaches arrive at the bus station at Dek Square in the vicinity of the Thermal baths. The up-to-date timetables can be checked on the web site www.zalavolan.hu where under the option 'Local timetable' you can find railway, flight and waterway schedules as well, besides road timetables.
Travelling by car:

From the direction of Vienna and Sopron:
By exiting motorway A1, on motorway A3 leading towards Eisenstadt, motorists get to the border crossing point in Sopron. From here, take main road no. 84 through Smeg to Balatonederics. You can reach Hvz by turning to the west, to main road no. 71 through Keszthely.
From the direction of Slovenia, Lendava/Lenti you can approach the town best on main road no. 75, while from Croatia on main road E71.
From the direction of Budapest.
You cannot really miss the way from motorway M7, driving all along the southern shore of Lake Balaton, as far as Balatonszentgyrgy. From there, take main road no. 76, and then main road. 71 at Fenkpuszta (to the right at the Zala Bridge) and you can get to he town of Hvz by driving through Keszthely.

After arriving in Hviz, you will directed to the main street. After the 'MOL'-petrol station turn right in the second street. At the first street turn right and follow the 'Attila' street 500 meters, turn left the secund street, and after 50 meters you will in 'Kodly Zoltan' street arrive.
