To come to Taksim Sofa Hostel From Ataturk Airport, you may find your way to TAKSIM SQUARE (The most famous meeting place in Istanbul):

1) Take the Subway (METRO)from Ataturk Airport (The First Stop) to AKSARAY (Last Stop) (1.65 Lira = $1,3). When you come out of subway cross the main street towards the Tramline and:

1a) take the Tram from YUSUFPASA Tram Stop (1.5 Lira) to KABATAS (Last Stop) direction, then the FUNICULAR (1.5 Lira) (underground train) to Taksim Square

or

1b) take a Public Bus (1.5 Lira) nearby the YUSUFPASA Tram Stop to Taksim Square

2) Take HAVAS BUS from ANY AIRPORT* to Taksim Square

*remember that there are 2 airports in istanbul (sabiha gokcen airport on the asian side and ataturk airport on the europian side.

- Taxi costs 35 Liras from Ataturk and more than 60 Liras from Sabiha Gokcen

THEN;

Walk into the ISTIKLAL STREET (famous pedestrian street), turn to the 4th corner on the left (SADRI ALISIK SOKAK) walk 200 m down to the end of the street. just turn left and then take the first right. Sofa is the second building on the left with a big green grapevine.
