The hostel was nice. It is a 10-15 minutes walk away from the Westlake. If you want to go to the city you have to take the bus, what is difficult if you don´t have the name of the station in chinese letter. You really should ask for the chinese adress of the hostel before you arrive in Hangzhou. For us it was unable to find the correct bus at the trainstation. So we had to take a taxi, what is very cheap (~2€). But you need the chinese adresse. Daniel, from Austria ~ 26th Sep 2009

This hostel was decent but our room was horrible, wet and dirty with no locks on the doors. Also would have surely appreciated proper toilets. I had to hold my vomit in when using theirs. sofia, from Finland ~ 12th Aug 2009

Great place, staff were excellent and really helpful, the common room/bar was good and not too pricey. Very picturesque, a little far but it really didn't turn out to be an issue for us. Super cheap too! Luke, from Australia ~ 31st Jul 2009

It's not in the centre of town, but Hangzhou is small enough and easy enough to navigate for it not to matter. The location is lovely and the hostel is full of character - one of the best I've stayed in in China Read Owner Comments Jake, from England ~ 23rd Jul 2009

Located near the zoo. In fact it was not convenient to find a small restaurant to eat as it's a very quiet place. But the lounge in the hostel was very nice with its lights, the Dvd room and the open ground ! Christine, from France ~ 9th May 2009
