So I never showed up for my reservation and was charged full price for the first night. This policy, although not a compliment to their service, is stated on the reservation. Several days later, another charge appeard on my card for the same amount. So. They charged me for two nights of a two night reservations even though I never showed up for the first. Now I have to call them and fight about it. JULIANA, from USA ~ 15th Feb 2010

It was a great place! Cheap and clean. Its true: you need a car to travelling, but if you want to go LA, then you must rent a car, becouse its so huge!! Imre, from Hungary ~ 1st Dec 2009

the hotel was overall " average ". two things i din't like was.. 1. the shuttle - it's not run by the hotel. it's a shared van run by a van company and.. even though the hotel was just 10 mins away from the LAX , it took me 40mins to get there cuz the shuttle was running all around the LAX 2. breakfast - i had to leave the hotel at 6am cuz of the flight time.. and the breakfast is only open at 8am. So for the people who's planning to leave early.. i don't recommend this hotel Young Seung, from South Korea ~ 25th Jul 2009

Nice place to stay if you need a night in LA near the airport, nothing more though. Be careful when booking a room, 'twin' here means a twin bed, not twin share. Initially, they tried to put us in a king bed, but relented to 2 twins when we complained. Staff were helpful because hotel was quiet, but you could be left in the lurch during busy times Scott, from New Zealand ~ 6th Jul 2009

The hostel itself was good for the price. The room was large and was cleaned every day. Free parking on the lot was great. The hostel is about 35min drive from Hollywood and the neighbourhood isn't very nice but has restaurants of fast food chains and other amenities nearby. The closeness to the airport causes noise from the airplanes flying over low. Also traffic on Century Bulevard, sirens of emergency vehicles and occasionally barking dogs may disrupt. We picked this location because it was close to LAX. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. Only downside is it can be noisy due to the traffic on Century Blvd. Jim, from USA ~ 14th May 2009
